Arjan Huizer is a Dutch pianist, organist, improviser and producer, known for his improvisations on grand piano and organ.
He was born in Brielle, the Netherlands. At the age of eight he found a keyboard at the local toy library. What began as playing with white and black keys grew into a life as a performing musician on piano, grand piano and organ.
By the age of ten he was the regular accompanist of a children's choir and of church services. Three years later he self-released his first CD, which brought him national recognition.
Since then his ability to improvise across a wide range of styles has become his signature: from psalm settings to cinematic soundscapes, always invented on the spot. His improvisations on grand piano and organ are now heard at home and abroad.
Besides being a musician he is a photographer, cameraman, producer and IT consultant. And above all a husband and father of two.
